"Later, with the fire roaring hotly, wild flames and dragon children flare up in the belly of the stove. The grain in the dry oak is thrilled. At the edge of my heart's membrane, little creatures dance. There is warmth and a harking back to memory, to the child at the horizon when the earth was born. Tiny dragons and flames wild-dancing, singing, whirring like many-colored doves they become and become."
