This "seesaw" bench is such a cool idea! It was done by the Swedish designer Martin Nicolauson. He built it to facilitate conversation in an attempt at getting strangers to talk in public spaces. As Martin rightly points out, ‘This bench requires cooperation to be functional."

I wonder what it would be like if humans could breathe underwater. Would some people decide to build their houses in lakes and start their own communities there with businesses, schools and playgrounds? Would they have their own set of laws and way of life or would they simply come up from their watery home each day, dry themselves off and join the rest of the world?



So the first picture is just for fun, and because I can't look at Jennifer Connolly without thinking of the Labyrinth. But really, I love the new Balmain collection-- especially this green one--fabulous!
